| Obverse description | Bare head of Heracles facing right, with the lion-skin club visible over the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Carian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend on this side. The flan is irregular, consistent with hammered provincial bronze production. |

| Reverse description | A panther strides to the left with its head raised and turned back (reverted), a common Dionysiac symbol frequently employed on civic bronze coinage of Caria. The animal is depicted in a naturalistic style with the head prominently turned. The ethnic legend ΤΑΒΗΝΩΝ, identifying the issuing city of Tabae, is disposed around the type in the field. The overall composition is characteristic of Roman Provincial bronze issues from the region. |
