| Reverse description | A tetrastyle temple depicted in elevation, its four columns framing a cult statue of Artemis standing to the right within the intercolumniation. The goddess is shown in her characteristic role as divine huntress, drawing an arrow from a quiver with her right hand while holding a bow in her left. The architectural rendering is schematic but clearly conveys the pediment and columnar structure of the local sanctuary. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is inscribed around the reverse field. |
