| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the portraiture conventions of the Roman imperial provincial tradition. The effigy displays the characteristic close-cropped hair surmounted by a laurel wreath, with a strong, idealized profile. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature in Greek characters arranged as a circular legend. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic patination consistent with a Mysian bronze issue of the early second century AD. |
