Additional information

Apollonia Salbace was a minor Carian city whose civic coinage under Tiberius reflects the broader pattern of provincial loyalty displays following Augustus's death in 14 AD. The magistrate names recorded — Kallippos son of Artemidoros — are among the few surviving traces of the local elite who administered this otherwise poorly documented settlement in the Alabanda conventus.
