| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus (attributed) facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view. The imperial effigy displays typical military accoutrements of the Severan period. A partial Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The strike is somewhat irregular, consistent with provincial mint production of the era. |
