| Obverse description | Youthful laureate head of the Demos facing right, rendered in the typical civic personification style of Phrygian provincial coinage. The portrait displays idealized, youthful features consistent with the allegorical representation of the people of Stectorium. The Greek legend ΔΗΜΟϹ appears in the field, identifying the effigy as the personification of the civic community. The flan is irregular, and the surface shows the characteristic granular texture of a hammered bronze provincial issue. |
