| Obverse description | Jugate busts of Nero and Agrippina II facing right, with Nero in the foreground, laureate, and Agrippina draped behind him. The legend ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ runs around the periphery in Greek characters. The portraits are rendered in the provincial Lydian die-cutting style characteristic of the Conventus of Ephesus, with bold, slightly rough relief typical of civic bronze issues of the early Neronian period. |
