Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled at the nape in the characteristic Antonine court style. The effigy is rendered in moderate relief, with visible drapery folds at the truncation. The encircling Greek legend reads ΚΡΙϹΠΙΝΑ ΑΥΓ, distributed around the bust within a dotted border.

Reverse description Cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus (Ephesia) standing facing, depicted in the hieratic xoanon tradition, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical crown) upon her head and supported by lateral props or staves at her sides. Two stags flank the goddess symmetrically in the lower field, referencing her role as mistress of animals. The ethnic legend ΚΑΔΟΗΝΩΝ curves around the design, identifying the civic authority of Kadoi in Phrygia.
