Obverse description Youthful bare-headed bust of Commodus facing right, depicted as Caesar, with a draped shoulder visible at the truncation. The portrait exhibits the characteristic rounded features of Commodus in his youth, consistent with his co-regency under Marcus Aurelius. A Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible and partially off-flan. The coin shows typical provincial striking with a somewhat irregular flan.
