| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation, rendered in the provincial Greek style. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic curly hair and beard. A partially preserved Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan within a beaded border, though the coin's surface shows considerable wear and patination typical of provincially struck bronzes of the Antonine period. |
