Additional information

Year 11 of Hadrian's reign corresponds to 126–127 AD, a period when the emperor was actively touring the eastern provinces. He visited Egypt in 130 AD, but the anticipation of imperial attention — and the administrative reshuffling that preceded such visits — often influenced local mint output in the years prior. Alexandrian bronzes of this regnal year are modestly scarce relative to the high-volume issues surrounding the emperor's actual Egyptian sojourn.
