Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, wearing a stephane, her hair elaborately waved and arranged in the characteristic Hadrianic court style. The effigy is rendered in fine provincial style with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The encircling legend in Greek characters identifies the empress by her imperial title. The portrait displays the idealized features typical of official Hadrianic-era provincial coinage from the Lydian conventus.
