| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with paludamentum draped over the left shoulder, the military cloak visible from the rear. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic provincial style of Epirote civic coinage, with the head slightly raised. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ΠΑΝΕΛΛΗΝΙΟϹ, referencing Hadrian's celebrated Panhellenic title. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
