Obverse description Laureate head of the emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the Provincial Greek style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The portrait displays characteristic features of Flavian imperial iconography, with the laurel wreath encircling the head. The Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered provincial bronze production of the late first century AD.
