Obverse description Draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and bound with a taenia or hairband, with loose locks falling at the neck. The portrait is rendered in the Classical tradition favoured by Mysian civic mints, with fine drapery visible at the truncation. The bust is set within a dotted border (beaded circle), occupying the majority of the flan.

Reverse description A Capricorn — the hybrid creature combining the foreparts of a goat with the tail of a fish — strides to the right across the field, its wings partially spread and its fish-tail curling beneath. The figure is rendered in relief with naturalistic detail typical of Mysian provincial coinage. The Greek civic legend ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ, with the zeta rendered in an archaic エ-shaped form, appears in the field and exergue, enclosed within a dotted border.
