Obverse description Helmeted bust of Athena facing right, draped and wearing the aegis across the chest. A spear is depicted to the left of the bust, positioned vertically in the field. The design is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the Antonine period. No legend is present on the obverse. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, as is characteristic of this provincial series.

Reverse description Tyche standing left, wearing a kalathos (modius) atop her head, her drapery rendered in flowing provincial style. She holds a ship's rudder in her right hand, resting it on the ground, and a cornucopia (horn of plenty) in her left arm. The encircling ethnic legend ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝΙΔΕΩΝ runs in the field around the figure, identifying the issuing civic authority of Apollonis. The composition follows the standard Tyche reverse type widely employed by Lydian city-states under Roman imperial rule.
