Obverse description Bare-headed, youthful bust of the eponymous hero Kyzikos facing right, with short curly hair and a diadem, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition. The portrait is depicted in high relief against a plain field, with fine modelling of the facial features. The Greek legend ΚΥΖΙΚΟϹ appears to the right of the bust. A dotted border runs along the coin's periphery.

Reverse description The ethnic legend ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ is inscribed in three lines within the field, enclosed by a neatly tied laurel wreath whose branches extend symmetrically around the entire reverse. The wreath is rendered with individual elongated leaves and berries, tied at the base with a ribbon. The composition is typical of civic bronze coinage from the Conventus of Cyzicus during the Antonine period.
