Obverse description Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the characteristic Roman imperial portrait style. The effigy displays the emperor's idealized features with a smooth, unadorned head devoid of laurel wreath or diadem. A colonial legend encircles the portrait, referencing the Colonia Iulia Nobilis Cnossus. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat uneven, typical of provincial colonial bronze coinage of the Augustan period.

Reverse description Two confronted bare heads facing one another, identified as Gaius Caesar (right-facing, on the left) and Lucius Caesar (left-facing, on the right), the adopted grandsons and heirs of Augustus. The heads are placed face to face in the field, a composition commonly found on Augustan colonial issues honoring the imperial princes. The legend is blundered or partially preserved, with the abbreviated initials C and L appearing in the field. The striking is typical of a colonial provincial workshop with limited die quality.
