| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with faint traces of drapery visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly discernible despite surface wear. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Antoninus Augustus Pius. The flan is irregular and slightly irregular in outline, characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |
