| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, seen from the rear, with the folds of the military cloak visible. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic Antonine style of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The obverse legend, partially preserved, runs around the periphery of the flan in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and shows ancient die wear consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
