| Obverse description | Bare-headed draped bust of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, facing right, with short curly beard and paludamentum over the left shoulder. The youthful effigy displays the characteristic close-cropped hair rendered in detailed relief typical of Pisidian provincial coinage. The Latin legend AVRELIVS CAESAR runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible on the irregular edge. |
