Obverse description Veiled and draped bust of Faustina I facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Arabian civic coinage. The veil falls over the back of the head and shoulders, with drapery visible at the truncation. The legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ encircles the effigy, identifying the empress as Augusta. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat uneven, as typical of Bostra municipal issues of this period.
