| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, with draped paludamentum visible at the shoulder truncation. The emperor's portrait displays the characteristic mature, bearded effigy consistent with his provincial coinage. The Greek imperial titulature legend ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ is disposed around the bust in the field. The flan is irregular and somewhat broad, typical of provincial bronze issues of Asia Minor. |

The ethnic legend ΛΑΕΡΤΕΙΤΩΝ, identifying the civic issuing authority of Laertes, is disposed around the figure in the field. |
