Obverse description Bare laureate head of Titus Caesar facing right, depicted in the Roman imperial portrait style with finely rendered hair and laurel wreath. The legend encircles the portrait field, reading ΤΙΤΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ in Greek characters. The portrait displays the characteristic facial features of the young Titus, with a strong jaw and pronounced brow. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of provincial hammered coinage of the period.
