Reverse description A harpa (the curved sickle-sword associated with Perseus) depicted upright and centrally placed within the field, with its characteristic hooked blade clearly rendered. The implement is shown in isolation as a civic emblem, a motif closely associated with the mythological founding traditions of Cappadocian cities. The ethnic legend ΚΥΒΙϹΤΡΕωΝ is divided and positioned to the left and right of the harpa, identifying the issuing city of Cybistra. The reverse field is plain with no additional decorative elements, and the flan edges show the irregular striking typical of hammered provincial bronzes.
