Obverse description Bare head of the young Caesar Geta facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with cursory but recognizable portraiture. The legend surrounds the effigy in Greek characters, reading Λ ϹΕ ΓΕΤΑϹ Κ, identifying the subject as Lucius Septimius Geta in his capacity as Caesar. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, as is typical of Bithynian civic bronze coinage of the Severan period.
