| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of the young prince in the provincial Greek style. The surrounding obverse legend in Greek script identifies the subject as Emperor Lucius Septimius Geta Caesar. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat worn, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |
