Reverse description Two nude children, rendered in the local Hellenistic artistic tradition, are depicted in a playful scene, crouching and engaged in a game of astragali (knucklebones). Between them in the background stands the celebrated cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus, shown in her characteristic frontal, multimammary form, flanked by a crescent and a star. The reverse legend encircles the scene within a beaded border, identifying the issuing civic authority.
