Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus, laureate, facing right, with paludamentum over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic full beard of Verus and is rendered in the provincial style typical of Achaean civic bronzes of the Antonine period. A legend encircles the bust in Greek characters identifying the emperor.
