Reverse description Telesphorus, the chthonic deity of recuperation and convalescence, depicted standing facing in his characteristic hooded cloak (cucullus), rendered as a small, compact frontal figure. The reverse field is largely plain, with the ethnic legend of the mint city inscribed around the figure. The style is typical of Bithynian provincial coinage of the Antonine period, with the deity identified by his distinctive enveloping garment.
