Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic short beard and tightly curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The overall style is consistent with Alexandrian provincial coinage of the early second century AD, exhibiting a somewhat broad, flat relief typical of the Egyptian mint.

Reverse description A dolphin entwined around an anchor, depicted in the centre of the field with its tail curving gracefully upward — a well-known Alexandrian reverse type evoking maritime symbolism. The regnal year legend L ΙΔ (year 14 of Hadrian's reign) is divided across the field, with L to the left and ΙΔ to the right of the central device. The type is executed in a compact, rounded relief characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage. The flan shows the irregular edges typical of hand-struck provincial issues of this period.
