Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the emperor's facial features depicted in moderate relief. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the ruler by his full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular in shape, characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period.
