| Obverse description | Bare head of the emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the portrait style characteristic of his later reign. The effigy displays close-cropped hair and a short beard, both hallmarks of Hadrian's numismatic portraiture. The legend is disposed around the portrait in the field, reading partially along the right periphery. The coin's flan is irregular and shows typical wear consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
