| Obverse description | Bare head of Aelius Caesar facing right, rendered in a naturalistic Hadrianic provincial style with finely modelled facial features. The portrait displays close-cropped hair with short locks across the forehead, characteristic of Aelius's known iconography. The legend Λ ΑΙΛΙΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ curves around the bust within the field.
