Obverse description Draped bust of Antonia Minor facing right, her hair arranged in waves and drawn back into a bun at the nape of the neck, in the style characteristic of Julio-Claudian portraiture. The Greek legend ΜΑΡΚΙΑ appears in the field, partially visible around the bust. The portrait is rendered in a provincial style typical of Macedonian civic coinage under Claudius.
