| Obverse description | Bare, laureate head of Emperor Caligula (Gaius Caesar Germanicus) facing left, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Cretan civic coinage. The portrait displays defined facial features with a laurel wreath crown. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the coin's periphery, dedicating the issue to Gaius Caesar Germanicus Augustus.
