Reverse description A tripod, the canonical Apolline cult symbol, occupies the central field of the reverse. The tripod is rendered in a schematic but recognizable style, with a cauldron supported on three legs, consistent with Phrygian civic bronze coinage of the Augustan era. The Greek civic legend surrounds the type, identifying the issuing city and the magistrate responsible for the emission. The inscription is distributed across the field and around the central device, with the magistrate's name and honorific title clearly attested in the lettering.
