Obverse description Bare head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The emperor's portrait displays the characteristic mature features associated with his reign, with naturalistic hair treatment. The encircling Greek legend reads around the obverse field. The flan is irregular, as is common for provincial bronze issues of this period.
