| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with naturalistically rendered hair and a draped shoulder visible at the truncation. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, distributed around the field in an arc. The portrait displays the calm, mature features associated with the emperor's later iconography. |
