| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Carian civic coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic mature features of the emperor, with a laurel wreath crowning the head. A Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the portrait, running along the beaded border of the flan. The die work, though worn, reflects the competent local engraving tradition of the Maeander valley region. |
