| Obverse description | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and drawn up at the back in the characteristic Antonine fashion. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style, with the drapery visible at the truncation of the bust. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹ (Faustina Augusta) runs around the periphery of the field. |
