Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus as Caesar facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view common to provincial issues of this period. The imperial effigy is rendered in the standard provincial die-cutting style of the Milesian mint. The encircling Greek legend ΓΑΛΛΙΗΝΟϹ Κ identifies the emperor by name with the title Caesar. A dotted border frames the design at the coin's periphery.
