| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted with characteristic short hair beneath the laurel wreath, set within a dotted border. The effigy shows the emperor's draped and cuirassed shoulders, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Alexandrian mint. The surrounding Greek legend abbreviates his full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped, consistent with Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | A hawk, identified with the Egyptian god Horus, depicted standing and facing right in a static, frontal pose with wings folded, rendered in the local Alexandrian artistic tradition. The regnal year date appears in the left field. The type reflects the strong Egyptian religious iconography incorporated into Alexandrian provincial coinage under Roman imperial authority. The field is otherwise plain, and the coin is enclosed within a faint dotted border. |
