| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of Moesia Inferior, with the laureate wreath clearly distinguishable despite surface wear. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the bust along the periphery of the flan. |
