| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing left, wearing a radiate crown with pronounced rays rendered in a provincial style. The portrait displays characteristic features of the young emperor with curled hair visible beneath the crown, the drapery indicated by incised lines across the shoulder and chest. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border, reading ΑΥΤ Κ ΑΝΤ, abbreviating his imperial titulature in the local provincial convention. |
