| Obverse description | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealised Hellenistic portrait tradition favoured by eastern provincial mints. The effigy displays characteristic Augustan features with neatly combed hair. The Greek legend ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ ΚΤΙΣΤΗΣ (Augustus, Founder) surrounds the portrait, reading vertically along the left field and partially along the right, consistent with the epigraphic conventions of Ionian civic coinage. |

| Reverse description | Full-length standing figure of Dionysus, turned to the left, depicted in the god's traditional guise as patron deity of Teos. He holds a cantharus (wine cup) extended in his right hand and a filleted thyrsus (ivy-tipped staff wound with ribbons) in his left. The civic ethnic legend ΤΗΙΩΝ (of the Teians) appears vertically in the right field, identifying the issuing city in standard Hellenistic epigraphic style. |
