| Reverse description | Full-length standing figure of an Armenian, depicted facing, rendered in a schematic provincial style. The figure is shown in eastern dress, holding a spear in one hand and a bow in the other, symbols of the Parthian and Armenian enemy and referencing Gaius Caesar's eastern campaigns circa 1 BC–AD 4. The magistrate's legend curves around the field on both sides of the standing figure. The reverse composition is characteristic of Pergamene civic bronze issues commemorating Roman military diplomacy in the East. |
