| Obverse description | Bare head of Lucius Caesar facing right, depicted in youthful style with close-cropped hair rendered in fine strands. The portrait occupies the right portion of the flan, with the Greek legend ΑΙΓΑΕΩΝ ΛΕΥΚΙΟΝ disposed around the field. The effigy is executed in the Hellenistic civic tradition characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the Augustan period. |
