Obverse description Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche facing right, wearing a mural crown, the veil draped over the shoulders. In the left field, a six-pointed star appears above an aphlaston (ornamental stern of a ship), both rendered as civic and maritime emblems characteristic of Sidonian coinage. The portrait is executed in a provincial Hellenistic style with summary but expressive detail.
