| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing left, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Mysian mint at Parium. The effigy occupies the central field with the laurel wreath clearly indicated around the brow. The surrounding legend in Latin reads TRAIAN AVG, disposed around the bust. The flan is irregularly struck, with surfaces showing characteristic patination of a provincial bronze issue. |
